Embark Beyond - 2026 - Independent Project
MOOD Series
Embark Beyond is a luxury travel advisory creating highly personalized journeys for a global clientele.
To move beyond traditional destination-led content, I created MOOD: a recurring editorial series connecting travel with fashion, art, design and culture.
What began as a proposal for Milan Design Week evolved into an ongoing monthly series. Each edition translated a cultural or seasonal moment into a distinct visual world, anchored by iconic hotels and destinations and always aligned with Embark Beyond’s brand DNA.
-
I used the global luxury calendar as the starting point, translating each cultural and seasonal moment into a distinct mood, palette, visual language and editorial direction.
More than 250 images were researched and curated across travel, fashion, architecture, art and hospitality, then refined into a cohesive visual system connected to relevant hotels and destinations.

Selected Pieces
April: Rio
Sun-drenched and unapologetically alive. Rio in April is all about rhythm, saturation, and sensuality. Think Brazilian modernism layered with effortless beach culture: curved architecture, bold color blocking, sun-faded pastels against bursts of tropical brights. Tan lines, wet hair, Havaianas on mosaic sidewalks. Designers like Oscar Niemeyer inform the visual language, fluid, sculptural, never rigid. This is a mood of heat, movement, and magnetic energy.
August: Nautical
Endless horizon, salt on skin, time stretching. This is peak summer escapism; yachts cutting through glassy water, teak decks warmed by the sun, linen shirts half-buttoned. Whites, navy, sun-bleached neutrals. The rhythm is indulgent, and expansive. Luxury here is space, air, and the absence of urgency.
